Filmed in 2012, Quiet Planet was created for the Sci-Fi London 48 hour film challenge, preceding the 11th Sci-Fi London Film Festival in London. 

Filmed over the weekend of 14/15th April, this is what we came up with: 

The concept of the competition was to create a 3-5 minute long short, based on four randomly selected elements. The elements were:

• Title - Quiet Planet
• Line of dialogue - The upgrade process will begin in T-minus 5 minutes and counting
• Prop - We see a character look in a book, turn to a page with a turned corner. They then write the page number down, next to a sequence of other numbers
• Sub-plot - A virus that kills language
